Money punch misuporta sa Cebu amateur boxing

CEBU, Philippines —  Ang Money Punch Fight Promotions mihatag sa hugtanon niining suporta ngadto sa grassroots program sa Villamor Boxing Gym (VBG) ubos sa pagduma ni kanhi two-time world title challenger Edito "ALA" Villamor uban ang tinguha nga makadiskubre og mga talento nga makahatag og garbo ug dungog sa nasud sa internasyonal nga mga kompetisyon apil na ang Olympics sa umaabot.

“Money Punch is about working with people like coach Villamor (Edito) who is really engrossed in the boxing grassroots program," matud pa ni Money Punch CEO Christian Faust atol sa usa ka press conference didto sa BAI Hotel ning bag-ohay pa lamang.    

"We're bringing opportunity to young talents and those less fortunate children to grow into responsible adults. We're helping people achieve their objectives," dugang pa ni Faust, usa ka German-Australian nga nagpuyo sa dakbayan sa Lapu-Lapu sud sa duha na ka dekada. "Not all of them will become successful boxers though but we'll give them an insight to become a better person, a responsible person."

Si Faust nagkanayon nga si Villamor maoy labing haum nga makatumpang niya sa iyang mga plano tungod sa dakong kasingkasing niini sa boksing timaan sa gi-establisar niining programa sa VBG didto sa Barangay Pagsabungan, dakbayan sa Mandaue bisan taliwala sa pandemiya duha ka tuig na ang milabay.

"I can't think of anyone better than coach Villamor because he has been doing a tremendous program for kids. He's an expert on this and I completely trust his program," dason pa ni Faust.  “We aim to develop amateur boxers and give them opportunity to progress and train and learn from experts like Villamor who achieved greatness. We will enhance their ability to become pro boxers."

Sa iyang bahin, si Villamor way kasudlan sa iyang kalipay tungod sa gibubo nga suporta ni Faust ngadto sa iyang mga damgo alang sa mga kabatan-onan nga nangambinsyo magboksidor.

“Lipay gyud kaayo ko ani kay dugay nako nangandoy nga naay mo-support sa akong amateur boxing program. It’s a big factor sa mga bata diri sa Cebu. Akong panghinaut nga unta magdugay para modaghan pa ang mga bata nga ma-interested sa amateur boxing," padayag  pa ni Villamor.

Isip buena mano niyang dalit, si Faust misaad nga maoy mo-abaga sa tanang mga galastuhon sa binulan nga torneyo ni Villamor sa mosunod nga nga 12 ka bulan.

“Hopefully, as a good fisherman, as we cast the line we can pull out talented kids in the next four to five years that we can send to regional and international events or even the Olympics,” batbat pa ni Faust, nga nagplanong mopahigayon sa una niyang promosyon sunod bulan didto sa Consolacion.
