Basketball organizers malaumon

Emmanuel B. Villaruel - Banat

"As a basketball organizer, I felt very frustrated of what had happened since the community quarantine. Me and my team spent a lot of months preparing for eight leagues that was supposed to be launched starting March to April 2020 but everything went to the garbage can due to Covid-19 happened," matud pa ni Salazar nga mao sab ang nagdala sa Gullas Cup ug sa mga liga sa IBP-Cebu, Don Bosco ug uban pa.

Gidasonan ni Cabilino ang sentimento ni Salazar.

"This coronavirus pandemic is very disheartening because it hit us hard, not only our country but the whole world. I just hope and pray that we can enjoy back the normal life we are used to," paambit pa ni Cabilino.

"As a basketball enthusiast, a player and an organizer for many years now, this pandemic brought us so many realizations. For one, life is full of uncertainties. Health is wealth has been proven this time. Money is nothing without health and wellness," sumala pa ni Go.

"In these trying times in the midst of pandemic, there's a lot of changes. This reminds us to be a better version of ourselves and know what matters most in our lives," batbat pa ni Dahil.

"The world needs basketball especially us Filipinos because ball is really life. I hope the players learn to value more their health and take this time to heal and relfect also. I hope they come back stronger and come back with more love and appreciation for the game," batbat pa ni Salazar.

"We have an unifinished business for now and I am really looking forward to restart the league and to celebrate out victory against Covid-19," matud pa ni Go. "For basketball under the 'new normal' is really impossible for me. So my take is that we end and win this fight against this virus and make basketball even bigger for individuals like us whose hands and feet are itchy to step into the court and play the game we know since we were little. No matter what happens, basketball will remain my passion and a way of life," dugang pa ni Go.
