DOLE ug SSS nigama og MOA alang sa mga empleyado

CEBU, Philippines — Ang Department of Labor and Employment-7 nigama og memorandum of agreement tali sa Social Security System kalabot sa mga non-organic nga kawani sa DOLE-7 niadtong Miyerkules.

Sa pagkakaron anaa sa 75 ka Contract of Service-Individuals nga kasagaran mga TUPAD Coordinators (TCs); Livelihood and Development Specialists (LDS); Project-based Individuals (PBIs); ug Community Facilitators (CFs) ang gustong mahimong miyebro sa SSS.

Ubos sa MOA, ang SSS niuyon nga i-cover ang Contract of Service-Individuals sa DOLE-7 isip self-employed members ubos sa Social Security Act of 2018.

Tabangan sa DOLE-7 ang maong mga personnel sa mga remittance sa ilang binuwan nga Social Security (SS) ug Employees' Compensation (EC) contributions.

Ang maong mga regular o permamenteng empleyado nga existing SSS member nga gipaubos og self-employment mahimo usab nga mopili sa pagpadayon sa pagbayad sa ilang mga kontribusyon isip boluntaryong mga miyembro.

Si DOLE-7 Director Lilia Estillore nagkanayon nga personal niya nga misyon ang paghatag sa tanang mga TC, LDS, PBIs ug CFs ug uban pa sa proteksiyon batok sa mga peligro sa kakulian, sakit, maternity, katigulangon, kamatayon ug uban pang contingencies nga gitanyag sa SSS.

"I hope that with this convergence with the SSS, other agencies, like the attached agencies of DOLE, will also follow suit in that they will also provide an opportunity to the contract of service and job order personnel under their employ to be enrolled with and covered by the SSS”, matud ni Estillore.

“Every time that we sign a MOA for the SSS coverage of the non-organic staff of a certain government agency, it shows the concern of the agency heads toward the welfare of their personnel. Hindi naman sila covered ng GSIS but at least, through their voluntary contributions with the SSS, they are protected. Thank you talaga. Ang DOLE-7 nag-assign na og personnel nga magsilbing liaison officer sa SSS nga motabang sa pagpasayon sa pagbayad sa boluntaryong kontribusyon sa mga personnel niini.
