Del Mar mi-walkout sa RDC-7 Meeting

CEBU, Philippines — Mi-walk out si Cebu City North District Representative Raul del Mar sa Regional Development Council Central Visayas Full Council and Committee meeting kagahapong adlawa Marso 16, 2018 sa usa sa mga inilang hotel dinhi sa Sugbo.

Atol sa meeting si del Mar ni-object kay adunay tulo ka depressed structures nga proyekto alang sa siyudad sa Sugbo nga wala maapil sa listahan sa naaprubahang mga proyekto.

"...we attend and then we don't have any voice? Why should we stay there?... All of us are working together for the best interest of our constituents in the entire region," matud ni del Mar sa mga sakop sa media.

Nagkanayon si del Mar nga ang gisumitir nga project list sa Department of Public Works and Highways(DPWH) sa iyaha aron paaprubahan nga iyaha nang napirmahan dili mao.

"I was surprised. It is a different version. Isn't fundamental that they asked for my approval but they come up there with a version that is not the same?" matud ni del Mar.

Sa linaing interbyu sa The Freeman sa kongresista pinaagi sa telepono  siya miingon nga gipangusab ang Programs, Activities and Projects (PAPs) sa DPWH-7 nga giendorsar didto sa RDC-7.

“I asked to be recognized. The motion was for the approval of all the projects of the different districts. I made the observation that this is what I see in the listing that will be approved by the RDC is not the same listing that was submitted to me by DPWH for my signature,” sumala pa niya.

Ang maong mga proyekto nga gipasabot ni Del Mar mao ang tulo ka mga karsada ubos sa iyang distrito nga grabe ang problema sa traffic. Kini mao ang D. Jakosalem padung sa F. Sotto lahos sa Asilo lahos sa Banilad padung sa Talamban;  Samtang gikan sa Salinas Drive padung sa Pope John Paul Avenue II ngadto na sa Sergio Osmeña Boulevard; Ug gikan sa Cardinal Rosales Avenue padung sa F. Cabahug ngadto sa  H. Cortes.

Matud pa niya iyang giesplikaran ang mga sakop sa RDC-7 nga di na kinahanglang maghimo og feasibility study kay gisugdan na man kini.

Apan tungod kay malangay pa man ang pagtuki niini, gipirmahan na lang niya ang maong mga proyekto basta korihian ang mga dili mao.

Apan matud pa niya nga si RDC-7 Co-Chairperson Kennth Cobonpue maoy miinsistir nga maaprubahan ang maong mga proyekto.

“They approved and disregarded my point. I said the identification of the road section is correct. But it is for feasibility studies. The one I approved from DPWH is the one that where the appropriation was for construction,” sumala pang Del Mar.
