Motorists told: Avoid EDSA today

MANILA, Philippines - Motorists should avoid parts of EDSA today where the activities for the celebration of the 31st EDSA people power revolution will be held, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised yesterday.

In a traffic advisory, the agency said motorists should steer clear of White Plains Avenue and the stretch of EDSA from Santolan to Ortigas Avenue.

To ease traffic, a zipper lane will be implemented at the westbound lane of White Plains Avenue, the MMDA said.
