21 tankers ginawaran ng MOS awards ng PSL
LUCENA CITY, Philippines — May 21 tankers ang ginawaran ng Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awards sa 127th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series – Long Course Swimming Meet na ginanap sa Alcala Sports Complex Swimming Pool.
Pinangunahan nina Marc Bryan Dula ng Wisenheimer Academy (boys’ 10-year), Lee Grant Cabral ng Diliman Preparatory School (boys’ 11-year) at Marion Margaret Del Moro ng Manuel Enverga University (girls’ 15-over) ang listahan ng mga MOS winners matapos makumpleto ang sweep sa kani-kaniyang kategorya.
Wagi rin sina Clara Maligat at Hannah Halamani (6-under), Arianne Zarsuelo (7), Heleina Glorioso (8), Ehm Alavy-Chafi (9), Poleen Corpuz (10), Danae Sarmiento (11), Jasmine Del Moro (12), Katherine Azores (13) at Christine De Luna (14) sa girls’ division.
Namayagpag naman sa boys’ class sina Gavin Guino (6-under), Lawrence Arabes (7), Agustin Mendoza (8), John Salinel (9), Yohan Cabana (12), John Rala (13), Jordan Lobos (14) at Mervier Mirandilla (15-over).
Tatlong rekord ang naitala sa edisyong ito mula kina Dula (50m backstroke, 35.80), Zarsuelo (200m freestyle, 7:21.50) at Arabes (200m freestyle, 5:03.13).
Itinanghal na overall champion ang Calayan Swimming Team na nakalikom ng 726 puntos, habang pumangalawa lamang ang Diliman Preparatory School na may 523 kasunod sa ikatlo ang Manuel Enverga University na naglista ng 480.
Pasok sa Top 10 ang Ibalong Magayon Aquagliders, Dolphin Swimming Club of Lucban, Batangas Killer Whale, Susan Papa Swim Academy, Mabalacat City Flying Barracudas, Immaculate Conception School of Baliuag at Jesus The Risen Savior School.
“We’re happy to announce that there are swimmers who met the qualifying marks for our international competitions. After reviewing the records, we will be announcing the names of qualifying swimmers in the coming days,” pahayag ni PSL President Susan Papa.
