Maute kin nabbed in Cotobato

COTABATO CITY, Philippines —  A relative of the founders of the Maute terror group was arrested in this city yesterday.

Najiya Dilangalen Karon Maute was nabbed for rebellion based on an order issued by Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana in connection with the declaration of martial law in Mindanao.

Lorenzana, who was named martial law administrator, has ordered the arrest of suspected members, supporters, spies and couriers of terrorist organizations in Mindanao. 

Maute is being held at the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao in this city.
