2 teens raped in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines — Two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, were allegedly raped in Gattaran, Cagayan last week.

Reports reaching the provincial police office yesterday showed that the victims were walking in Barangay Centro on Nov. 28 on their way home when unidentified men in a green van offered them a ride.

The victims said they agreed upon seeing two other girls in the vehicle.

The victims and two other girls were reportedly brought to a house and raped by five men for five days.

On Dec. 2, the victims said the suspects brought them back to their school, but kept the two other girls.

The victims were turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development while police are investigating the case.
