NAGA CITY, Philippines (Bicol Standard) — The second victim of an entity called Bicol Vigilante was shot dead Thursday night at Zone 7, Barangay San Felipe, in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

The victim, identified as Allan Alforte Castro, a resident of San Jose, Barangay Penafrancia, was on his way on a motorcycle to the downtown area from Barangay Pacol.

He suffered gunshot wounds, two of which were mortal, causing his instantaneous death.

His body was found next to a cardboard sign with the words “Wag tularan ang mga pushers – Bicol Vigilante.”

Police now are conducting a thorough background check to ascertain whether the crime is drug-related.

“We are still waiting for the SOCO to process the incident,” SPO2 Toby Bongon, Naga City Police Office Information Officer said.

“As of the moment, we are still unsure if Bicol Vigilante is really a vigilante group, or is only one with personal grudges riding on the issue of illegal drugs,” Bongon said.

Last Saturday, a victim identified as Ronald Elustre was shot in the neck at Barangay Dayangdang allegedly by the same unidentified entity.
