NBI nabs 2 Chinese for kidnapping
MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested two Chinese tagged in the kidnapping of a Chinese couple in Pasay City.
Su Jianshui and Chenwin Bin were nabbed by agents of the NBI Anti-Organized and Transnational Crime Division on Saturday.
NBI Director Dante Gierran said Ai Xiao Feng and Xiao Qzao Ling were rescued during the operation.
Gierran said the suspects kidnapped the couple and held them at CYX Manpower Services located at Diplomat Condominium along Macapagal Avenue on Jan. 18.
Authorities said the victims were transferred to a building in Moonwalk Village, Parañaque City guarded by four unidentified men.
The victims were in handcuffs when they were rescued by NBI operatives.
Charges of kidnapping and illegal detention were filed against the suspects.
