Prepare for El Niño

I am writing to you regarding your editorial about the conservation as a way of life that talks about the El Niño. You gave different things that must be done with this kind of a situation. First, farms need steady irrigation to secure the nation’s food supply.

Second, it would be even better if water conservation would come as a way of life. Third, you suggested to minimize flushing the toilet that consumes many water, and using water for the lawn.

These are some of the measures that you mentioned in the editorial. I definitely agree with this topic so the Filipinos will be ready when this situation occurs. They will know what to prepare, what to improve in their houses like their toilets and what to do to conserve water.

I suggest that we put some information that talks about the El Niño and its effects. So at the end of the day, people will think about it and follow the things that were suggested.  Again, I commend your newspaper for a well-written editorial.
