LIVE: Senate probe into 'fake news' — Day 2

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media will resume its inquiry into the proliferation of fake or misleading new and false information.

The Senate panel opened the inquiry on Oct. 4, 2017, inviting officials of the Presidential Communications Operations Office, digital influencers and journalists.

The inquiry will be resumed almost three months after its first hearing upon the manifestations of Sens. Tito Sotto, Manny Pacquiao, Cynthia Villar, Richard Gordon, Francis Pangilinan, Miguel Zubiri, Bam Aquino, Risa Hontiveros and Sonny Angara on the Silent No More PH blog.
