Lookout order issued vs US fugitive
MANILA, Philippines - The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has issued an immigration lookout bulletin for an American-Korean fugitive, reportedly a major party drug supplier in the country.
The April 19 order directs all immigration officers to “promptly relay any pertinent information” on attempts by Jun No to leave the country to the justice secretary and law enforcement agencies.
No was arrested last April 5 for selling 140 tablets of the party drug ecstasy, but escaped while being treated for acute appendicitis at the East Avenue Medical Center on April 15.
There is no record of No leaving the country following his escape, the BI said.
Based on the BI’s travel records, the 36-year-old No’s last known date of departure from the country was on Sept. 6, 2014. He left via the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) and went to South Korea.
After five days, No returned to the country. He passed through the MCIA on Sept. 11, 2014.
