US embassy closed on Monday

MANILA, Philippines - The United States embassy in Manila will be closed on Feb. 20 in observance of the President’s Day, an American holiday.

The embassy and its affiliated offices will resume services on Feb. 21.

The President’s Day is celebrated on the third Monday of February in honor of George Washington, the first US president, who was born on Feb. 22, 1732.
