The president fighting in too many fronts

The compelling sense of urgency must have impelled the President to wage wars in many fronts, thereby spreading his troops, so to say, very thinly, and exhausting himself too early in the game. First, he is battling the drug syndicates. He is starting to wage war against gambling lords. He is also threatening to declare war against tax evaders, and the greedy and conscienceless oligarchs. Not to mention, the war against Abu Sayaf, the protracted guerilla warfare of the CPP-NPA-NDF and a number of Muslim secessionists. He is also fighting "endo" or 5-5-5 contractualization which is causing upheavals in the business sector.

And there is China who keeps on bullying us in the West Philippine Sea and North Korea which is a loose cannon. The ISIS terrorists and the crime lords who commit murders, robberies, rapes and kidnapping, carnapping, and hacking of websites. There are illegal miners, illegal loggers, smugglers and economic saboteurs. There are illegal recruiters, traffickers in persons, and many terrorists just lurking around. The president wants to neutralize all of the enemies all at the same time. But that cannot simply be done. There are far too many imponderables beyond human control.

The drug problem alone is too endemic and far-reaching that even high schools are now penetrated by syndicates, bars, and rich enclaves where many young boys and girls are hooked into drugs, together with their parents and teachers. We need to protect our leader. Many drug lords and leaders of drug syndicates can put up billions to cause the demise of people who fight them.

We thus have to pray for our president because we need him to lead the national crusade against drugs and crimes. There had been no other presidents in the past who was as committed, focused, and passionate as President Digong.

We just have an unsolicited advice to him. Perhaps he has to tone down his harsh words against some people like Ambassador Goldberg because the US is our strongest and closest ally. It is good that the president has apologized to the Chief Justice. But we support him in his hard stance against Senator Leila de Lima who has done nothing but play politics while the whole country is being threatened by the drug menace.

We should all rally behind our president and ignore the critics who have no moral right to throw a monkey wrench on the bold moves of our leader.

What matters most is that we have found a leader who is courageous, fearless, and uncompromising against the evil forces in our country.

He is confronting the Church, the human rights activists, the enemies of Marcos who are opposing Ferdinand Marcos' burial in the Libingan ng Mga Bayani, the miners, the tax evaders and the terrorists.

There simply too many enemies. Let us support President Duterte and pray for his safety and well being. We can no longer find a leader as dedicated and as hardworking as PRoDu. Mabuhay!
