'Weather-weather' news sources

RELATIONSHIP. Without news reporters, there won't be newspapers. Without news sources, there won't be news reports. Well there may be, but not as credible as when they are written based on interviews with human news sources. Newspapering relies heavily on this relationship between the reporter and a news source. 

SNUBBED. One reporter (not from this paper), however, was fuming mad at her source lately. She was following up on a major news development that needed one politician's quick statement. It turned out her calls and text messages were all snubbed. "Maayo lang mo og magpatawag mo'g presscon. Karon nga kami manginahanglan ninyo, di mo manubag!" she said.
