Prince William, Duchess of Cambridge expect third child
MANILA, Philippines — The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child, the Kensington Palace announced this afternoon in its Twitter account.
"The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news," the palace's official press release said.

As with her previous pregnancies, the Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness characterized by vomiting, severe nausea, electrolyte disturbance and weight loss.
Because of this, Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London today, the palace stated.
"The Princess is being cared for at the Kensington Palace," the announcement concluded.

Prince William is second in line to the British throne, now headed by Queen Elizabeth II. As such, Catherine could become a probable future queen consort, while her first born by William, George Alexander Louis, is third in line to the crown.
On December 3, 2012, St. James's Palace announced that the Duchess was expecting with Prince George. On September 8, 2014, the royal couple announced the Duchess' pregnancy to her second child, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
