The 2017 Mutya ‘most likely’
Thirty beauties are competing for major titles — Mutya Ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific, Mutya Ng Pilipinas Tourism International and Mutya Ng Pilipinas-Overseas Communities — at the grand finals tonight at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of the Resorts World Manila (RWM). The event will be aired by ABS-CBN on Sunday (Aug. 6).
The winners will represent the country at the following pageants: Miss Asia Pacific International, Miss Tourism International, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International, Miss Tourism Metropolitan International and Top Model of the World (new title), plus two runners-up.
Nicole Kristel Losloso, Chella Grace Falconer, Arianne Deseree Viardo, Crystal Rosehelly Alday, Christelle Ann Tolentino
As usual, Funfare’s “beauty experts” Celso de Guzman Caparas and Felix Manuel have drawn their lists of “most likely” to bag the titles. The lists are not calculated to influence the judges who are invited for their being independent-minded and integrity.
Celso listed 14 bets and Felix, 16 bets. They agreed on nine bets, namely (at random):
- Chella Grace Falconer (Northern Mindanao)
- Christelle Ann Tolentino (Manila)
- Crystal Rosehelly Alday (Camarines)
- Arianne Deseree Viardo (Pampanga)
- Nicole Kristel Losloso (Southern Luzon)
- Ilene Astrid de Vera (Cebu)
- Angela Carla Sandigan (Pateros)
- Maxine Xanti Manalus (Central Luzon)
- Jannie Loudette Alipo-on (Navotas)
The remaining five on Celso’s list: Jaila Eunice Ragindin (Bataan), Charlene Fontanilla (Valenzuela City), Abagail Jane Grigsby (Melbourne), Claire Yvonne Aznar (Bataan) and Louise Lian Enumerable (Negros Island Region).
And the remaining six on Felix’s list: Darlene May Reyes (Singapore), Jesas Wada (Japan), Sofia Marie Sibug (Albay), Colleen Chan (Iloilo), Suzanne Perez (California) and Nicole Marie Deguilmo (United Kingdom).
