MANILA, Philippines — ABS-CBN’s rising love team McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson or most commonly known as “McLisse“ continue to shine as they launch their first single, "If We Fall In Love,” under Star Studio.
Composed by Pinoy Dream Academy alumni RJ Jimenez and performed with Yeng Constantino, the song is perfectly fit for the promising love team.
Elisse said at first she is not familiar with the song but upon reading the lyrics, she felt that it is the perfect song for them. “Feel na feel ko po. Sakto sa amin,” she said.
For his part, McCoy said: “Never ko naisip sa buong buhay ko nagkakaroon ako ng kanta kaya talagang nagpapasalamat ako kay Lord…Para sa akin napaka-coincidence. Kasi ‘If we fall in love’ kumbaga may tanong pa rin sa mga nangyayari sa amin. ‘Di pa rin namin alam kung meron din.”
The new single has been remastered by Rox Santos and is now available on Spotify and YouTube.
“Hindi ako nahirapang turuan sila kasi may tenga naman sila eh. Mahirap turuan ‘yung masasabi ko talagang as in wala pero sila during the recording ‘di ako nahirapan kasi nasa tune sila,” Rox said.
The love team hopes that this is not the first and only song they will sing. “If ever na magkaroon uli, sana may Tagalog naman para makarelate din po lahat,” Elisse said. “Kumbaga para mas mag-reach sa mga Filipino kasi nga Tagalog, sana magkaroon uli,” McCoy said.
