The 30 NCAA 2016 Hotties

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo - The Philippine Star

“They are not only excellent basketball players who carry their schools in tough fierce battles of the 92nd season of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), they’re also campus heartthrobs, the irresistible objects of desires by their schoolmates and by college basketball fans as well.”

That’s Nap Gutierrez speaking as he submitted his annual Honor Roll of the NCAA Hotties.

They are called Hotties not only because they are good in basketball but also because, according to Nap, girls and gays run after them during games held at San Juan Arena or even during their practices in school.

“Soon,” predicted Nap, “most of these faces will make it to the PBA like past NCAA hotties Anthony and David Semerad, Rome dela Rosa, Anjo Caram, Art de la Cruz, Kevin Racal, Mark Cruz and Kevin Alas. The NCAA 92nd season has just finished its first round hostilities and on top of the heap is San Beda, followed closely by Perpetual Help College, Arellano and Mapua.”

Nap based his list of Top 10 hotties this year on their performance for their teams and fan adulation: Jiovanni Jalalon (Arellano), Michael Calisaan (SSC), Javee Mocon (San Beda), Allwell Oraeme (Mapua), Carlo Young (CSB), Wilson Baltazar (Lyceum), Daryl Singontiko (UPHR rookie), Igee King (EAC), Paolo Pontejos (JRU), and Rey Nambatac (Letran)

San Beda College (Red Lions)

Colegio de San Juan de Letran (Knights)

College of Saint Benilde (Blazers)

Emilio Aguinaldo College (Generals)

Jose Rizal University (Heavy Bombers)

Arellano University (Chiefs)

Lyceum of the Philippines (Pirates)

Mapua Institute of Technology (Cardinals)

Perpetual Help College of Rizal (Altas)

San Sebastian College (Stags)
