WATCH: 'Resident Evil' stars greet Filipinos in new movie trailer

MANILA, Philippines - Did Milla Jovovich just say, "Hi, Philippines"?

On Monday, Columbia Pictures released the first official trailer of “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.”

The movie, which features Alice (played by Jovovich) going back to Raccoon City where the apocalypse all began, is the final sixth installment of the action-horror film series which was inspired by the popular video game series of the same title.

Before giving a sneak peek of the movie, Jovovich, alongside the other stars of the film greet the Filipino fans.

“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” produced by Jeremy Bolt, Paul W.S. Anderson, Robert Kulzer and Samuel Hadida will come to the Philippine theaters in January 2017.
