Jasmine Curtis-Smith thankful for movie project with AlDub

MANILA, Philippines - It was a privilege for Jasmine Curtis-Smith to be working with the love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.

Jasmine will be the friend of Maine's character in the film "Imagine You and Me."

"More than anything, I was surprised and thankful when they asked me to be part of the movie," she said in an interview on Wednesday with some members of the press.

She was supposed to do a project with Alden years back which didn't push through. Yet, she's thankful that she worked not only with Alden but also with Maine.

As to her experience working with them, Jasmine said she can testify that there were no pretensions between the two.

"They have different energy together," she said, describing and calling the two as a "couple."

"Matutuwa ka when they're together. How they are on screen is how they are off screen. So there's no pretending, there's no na for show lang," she added.

Aside from the film, Jasmine will soon start a project with Vilma Santos under the direction of Quark Henares.

"Imagine You and Me" will be in cinemas on July 13.
