Kristine Hermosa: No drama projects for now
MANILA, Philippines – Kristine Hermosa explained why her comeback project is a comedy show.
She will star with husband Oyo and father-in-law Vic Sotto in GMA’s sitcom “Hay Bahay!”
“Ma-drama na sa buhay, bawasan na natin. Pati ba sa trabaho, kailangan ba iyakan pa rin?” she said about doing a comedy project, Philippine Entertainment Portal reported.
Kristine was first known for her drama shows in ABS-CBN like “Pangako Sa’Yo,” “Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas” and “Dahil May Isang Ikaw.”
She also added that doing drama projects “drained” her, which she doesn’t want now especially she has three children with Oyo Sotto and will be having one more in November.
“Alam ko rin kasi sa sarili ko na if I do drama again, pag-uwi ko sa bahay, ano pa yung lakas na maibibigay ko sa mga anak ko, wala na,” she explained. “Kumbaga, draining siya, e. Kung dati nga wala pa akong pamilya, wala pa akong asawa, nade-drain na ako.”
As for working with GMA, Kristine said she doesn’t have an existing contract with ABS-CBN which made her freely accept the project with the Kapuso network.
