MANILA, Philippines - The pageant itself may still be days away, but Philippine bet Pia Wurtzbach is already working hard to win the title of 2015 Miss Universe.

The 26-year-old beauty queen has been participating, along with 79 other candidates, in a number of preliminary events for the 64th Miss Universe in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The live show will happen on December 20, Sunday in the US (Monday morning, Philippine time).
Pia recently participated in the pre-pageant talent show on Sunday and the Stop Hunger Now event on Saturday.

She is set to join the preliminary show and the national costume segment of the 64th Miss Universe later this week.
