Ellen Adarna moves on from nude photo controversy

Chuck Smith - The Philippine Star
MANILA, Philippines – “In fairness walang photoshop yun. At least, flawless.”

Thus quipped Ellen Adarna when asked about her recent nude photo scandal during her press conference as the 2015 calendar of Ginebra San Miguel on Thursday.

It can be remembered that nude photographs of Ellen from her Esquire Philippines pictorial was leaked online last September.

But the 26-year-old said she does not regret doing the sexy photo shoot. In fact, Ellen is still open to doing other sexier and edgier projects in the future.

“If it's required sa role and the script is really good, I'll do it,” she said when asked if she’s willing to do more daring projects after her Ginebra 2015 photo shoot. (The photo shoot for the Ginebra calendar, Ellen explained, was done prior to the online nude photo leak last month).

Ellen added, “If it makes me a better actress, why not?”

The ABS-CBN actress keeps mum, however, if she’s planning to take legal action over the incident. "I want it to be internal na lang. I don't want to talk about it anymore,” she said.

Nonetheless, the “Moon of Desire” star is happy with how her showbiz career is going.

She is set to star in an upcoming ABS-CBN show titled “Pasion de Amor,” a remake of a popular Columbian telenovela. It will also star Jake Cuenca, Ejay Falcon, Joseph Marco, and Arci Munoz.

Ellen admits wanting to work with John Lloyd Cruz in the future.

“Si John Lloyd talaga kasi lalaking-lalaki. Hindi ko naman type yung ma-abs na maskuladong kind of guy,” she said. “I'm [attracted] more on the character, the personality.”
