IN PHOTOS: Ellen Adarna is Ginebra's 2015 calendar girl

MANILA, Philippines - Ellen Adarna reinforces her claim as showbiz's new IT girl as she becomes the 2015 calendar girl of liquor brand Ginebra San Miguel.

 

The ABS-CBN actress was unveiled as the brand's new calendar girl in a press conference held on Thursday. 

 

Ellen follows the footsteps of actress Marian Rivera, who headlined Ginebra's calendar last year.

 

Other Ginebra calendar girls in the past include Georgina Wilson, Angelica Panganiban, Anne Curtis, and Solenn Heussaff.

 

"Of course [I'm] very happy and overwhelmed kasi the previous girls were big stars. So 'di ko ine-expect na pipiliin nila ako," she said.

 

The 26-year-old actress recently faced a nude photo controversy after behind-the-scene photos from her cover shoot with Esquire Philippines leaked online. 

 

Ellen said she does not regret doing the sexy photo shoot.

 

"I felt violated but I got over it... Unfortunately, (expletive) happens and someone didn't do their job, someone was unprofessional. Hindi ako ang may kasalanan," Ellen said of the incident. "If anything, I learned na dapat careful na next time."
