Piolo's son Inigo talks about DNA testing

MANILA, Philippines – Inigo Pascual opened up on recent reports that he underwent DNA testing to determine if he is indeed the son of Piolo Pascual.
It was the “Hawak Kamay” actor's sister, Chiqui Gonzales, who revealed the DNA test in the E! Asia News Special feature on Piolo.
“[Piolo] was in denial. He didn't want to accept that Inigo was his son, so they had this DNA test,” she said.
Piolo later confirmed his sister's statement in a press conference.
In an interview with ABS-CBN's late night talk show “Aquino and Abunda Tonight” on Tuesday, Inigo said he did undergo DNA testing when he was one or two years old.
“Matagal na po yun. I was a little kid pa, I was a baby pa... It's not a serious matter anymore. We don't talk about it anymore. But yeah, it did happen po,” he said in the TV interview.
He added, “I don't really know how to react about it.”
Inigo, who is based in the United States, is currently in the country to promote his movie “Relaks, It's Just Pag-ibig,” which is set to premiere next month.
The 17-year-old actor said he's prepared for the intrigues that comes with being part of showbiz.
“I grew up watching my dad do it. I learned from him as well,” Inigo said. “He's always there naman po, he's always watchful of what I'm doing and he's giving me advice naman po.”
The best advice he received from his father? “Be patient and enjoy everything that's happening and be in the moment.”
