Anne on working with ex-boyfriend Sam: ‘No bad blood’

MANILA, Philippines – Anne Curtis said she had no issues working with ex-boyfriend Sam Milby for the ongoing ABS-CBN fantasy series “Dyesebel.”

 

“Normal naman kasi wala kaming bad blood. We are okay,” she said in a taped interview with ABS-CBN’s morning show “Umagang Kay Ganda” aired Tuesday, March 18.

The actress admitted it was difficult working with Sam during the 2008 ABS-CBN series “Dyosa” as the show was ongoing when the two separated. 

 

“Pero ngayon, kasi it’s been a long time also and we both matured, so parang we are able to work with each other,” Anne said.

 

She further told “Umagang Kay Ganda” that they both “understand that what happened in the past is part of who we are now.”

 

Meanwhile, Anne is dismissing talks that are trying to pit her against Marian Rivera. The GMA-7 star played Dyesebel for a television show in 2008.

 

“Kaya hindi ako naniniwala sa mga nagpapasimula ng tsismis sa aming dalawa, na sinabi niya raw na hindi ako bagay (as Dyesebel). Alam kong hindi niya iyon masasabi dahil okay kami,” Anne said during the press conference of “Dyesebel” recently.

In a previous media gathering, Marian said she is happy for Anne as she dons the iconic mermaid tale of Dyesebel.

 

Alice Dixson, another former Dyesebel, told Philstar.com and other members of the press that she believes Anne can do justice to the role.
