Classes suspended in CamSur, Albay
MANILA, Philippines - Classes are suspended in some areas in the Bicol Region as Typhoon Glenda hits the country on Monday.
Governor Miguel Villafuerte of Camarines Sur said all students in elementary and high school in the province have their classes suspended on Monday afternoon. There will also be no classes on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Governor Joey Salceda of Albay said all classes in all levels in Albay are suspended starting 12 noon Monday, until lifted.
Typhoon Glenda entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday night, and is expected to bring heavy rains to Luzon including Metro Manila.
