MANILA, Philippines - To help companies handle issues effectively in public, the Center for Global Best Practices is launching a pioneering seminar titled, “Best Practices in Issues Management in Times of Controversies” on Jan. 17, 2016 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City.

This issues management and crisis communications program will teach the weapons and tools to deal with issues and provide best practices ideas and policies to prevent, contain or solve bad news from spreading in the media. He was chairman and CEO of Creative Point International, the Philippine affiliate of global PR and advocacy firm Hill & Knowlton. He has won many awards including the 2016 Distinguished UP Alumnus Award in Communications, Grand Anvil award, trophies from Public Relations Society of the Philippines, and International Association of Public Communicators. He was undersecretary at the DOTC and presently serving as senior adviser to the Department of Foreign Affairs.
