Food kiosk starts franchising

Madam Rosa - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -  Startup quick service food kiosk company Sinangag Club is going full blast with the franchisie of their affordable but quality sisig and beef pares-focused food concept to entrepreneurs.

Mia Vito-Sy, the developer behind Sinangag Club, said that a commissary they are building to serve as the central supply hub for an aggressive branch expansion initially all over Luzon will soon be completed.

Sy said that with the current commissary they are using in Makati City, they can support the existing 20 branches in Metro Manila and in the provinces of Batangas and Laguna.

The existing commissary can still support 10 branches they will soon open, which includes two branches that are already franchised branches.

“We are excited to see how we can speed up our growth by franchising,” Sy, said.

Sy developed the Sinangag Club, with her husband, Liansel, an executive at their family-owned shopping mall chain Liana’s Supermarket.

Sy said the huge potential of franchising for Sinangag Club has been tested already since they already have two franchised branches owned by Mark Go, whose family owns the CityMart shopping malls in the Calabarzon area.

She said Go has already expressed a desire to be an exclusive franchisee in Batangas province.

One of the 10 branches they will open in the next few weeks, she said, is also a franchise owned by a logistics company executive, John Fitzgerald Delgado.

Sy said Sinangag Club gets a wide following among shoppers due to its affordable price at only P49. She said that apart from the taste, their five sisig choices and beef pares, has turmeric powder in its “sinangag” fried rice, making it a healthier option over the competition.

Inquiries for franchise applications can be made online via email at address [email protected] and cellphone numbers 09275533838 and 0920430 2758.
