Globe riding on $200-B ICTspending spree

MANILA, Philippines – Globe Telecom Inc. is looking to take advantage of the expected growth in investments of enterprises on information and communications technology (ICT)-based software and applications by offering various services which would help  enhance business operations.

Gartner Inc., a leading information technology (IT) research and advisory company, said enterprises are seen to hike their spending for ICT-based business software and applications to more than $201 billion in 2019 from $149.9 billion in 2015.

Enterprises are also likely to spend more on digital transformation to promote growth in terms of revenue and operational efficiency, and minimize risks and threats.

Amid the growing trend for enterprises to go fully-digital, Globe through its ICT arm Globe Business, is accelerating the adoption of data and digital services across Philippine enterprises with its industry-focused solutions.
