Video of the day: 28-year-old take on most insane mountain bike stunt

MANILA, Philippines - Some people are just too insane to take on a daredevil challenge. Take for example this Scottish trials cyclist with an extreme passion for intense mountain biking.

'The Ridge,' a film by  Macaskill's Cut Media, features Danny Macaskill. In the film, Danny hops on his bike and conquers the Cuillin Ridgeline with his mountain bike. All this, with one thing on his mind - to return to his love, his native home, the Isle of Skye, Scotland.

Macaskill got famous on YouTube in 2009 when he posted a video of himself doing bike tricks. Now, he is labeled by Outside Magazine as "the most famous stunt rider on the Internet."

Macaskill and his filming company spent a total of 10 days putting the film together, producing seven and a half minutes of spectacular footage, which now has more than 23 million views.
