CEBU, Philippines – Former Bais City mayor Karen Villanueva said she might consider at getting another crack for a congressional seat of the 2nd district in Negros Oriental, after losing to incumbent Representative George Arnaiz in the 2013 el
ections.
Villanueva said she is now in the process of consulting the constituents in the 2nd district, and got encouraging results, particularly in Dumaguete, that may push her to take another stab for a congressional seat.
The entry of Villanueva will result in a three-cornered fight for the congressional seat against Dumaguete City Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria and Provincial Board Member Erwin Michael Macias.
