Marcos should hold on to DA

There are a group or sector of stupid Filipinos who do not know what they are doing.

 They wanted our president, Bongbong Marcos, to give up the agriculture and fishery portfolio and appoint a fulltime secretary.

President Marcos Jr. should get hold of that department tightly in his hands and manage it hands-on to avert the hunger and poverty of our countrymen.

At this point in time of our history and even the whole world, there is a looming threat of food insecurity and scarcity.

The Russia-Ukraine war has upset the food supply chain and even now our favorite breakfast fare, pan de sal, shrunk to half its size due to lack of flour supply.

Our country cannot go hungry if our farmers and fisherfolks are justly managed and supported by our government. And our president handling the agriculture and fishery department is timely and fits to a tee.

If our government can make our lands and seas very productive, we will see a faster economic growth what with millions of Filipinos become richer and productive consumers.

Those who want the president to give up the Agriculture and fishery department must shut up and instead go farming to raise their own food and also to stop bickering for the good of our blighted country and suffering populace.
