Six inevitable wars in 40 years

READER'S VIEWS - The Freeman

In 2013 an article published by the Chinese Communist Party’s News Agency went viral in China. It was dubbed: Six inevitable wars China has to engage between 2020 and 2060. To say the least: The article is completely devoid of any geo-strategic logic. It is far from reality, it is a lunatic dream because it does not consider resistance and counter-measures of the attacked countries and their allies.

Considering that it appeared when Xi Jinping had just launched his Belt and Road Initiative it presaged the hidden intentions of the project; militarization, invasion, and world domination.

Of concern is that in February 2021 it re-appeared in the censured media. On September 1, Xi announced ‘profound changes’ to the Central Committee Academy. The speech was widely published. Xi’s rhetoric is overly polemic and overtly bellicose. Actually he preconditions the PLA forces and the people for war. Scaring are such words as “the return of heroes and the return of blood.” Is Xi bound to follow his idol, Hitler, who asked the Germans if they are ready to pay a ‘blood toll’ in order to conquer the Slavic peoples of the East?

Scary is that, more often than ever, all Chinese smartphone owners receive war-mongering messages from armies of paid trolls that blame America for “barbaric and ferocious attacks on China.” It is a psychological war of attrition against middle-class people who enjoy the Western way of life.

Xi has forbidden English textbooks and the teaching of that language for fear that it conveys libertarianism and may inspire revolution and the end of the CCP. Instead the youth is indoctrinated with ‘Xi Jinping Thought’ as a new subject in the curriculum. Some kind of military training begins in kindergarten.

Under Mao acting against Maoist doctrine was punishable, under Deng it was not allowed to demonstrate e.g. on Tiananmen Square, but under Xi deviant thinking is a crime.

Let me revert to the six wars.

The first war is the conquest of Taiwan beginning in 2020. Within 3 months it will be “re-unified” but if the US and Japan make the mistake to oppose the PLA it will take six months. Next is the submission of the five South China Sea-adjacent nations. It is done from 2025 to 30. With resistance is to reckon from Vietnam and the Philippines. So the stronger Vietnam will be invaded first.

The Philippines and the others, intimidated and impressed by the might of the invincible Chinese war machine will be projected to surrender and declare allegiance to China. Ports and bases will be built and political power will be in Chinese hands. After the breakthrough of the First Island Chain, the PLA will infiltrate the Second Island Chain. Aircraft carriers and submarines will dominate all world oceans.

The third war is wresting South Tibet and Assam from India, then in 2040 China will attack the Senkakus and defeat Japan if it dares to defend the islands. Next comes the Republic of Mongolia and last is Russia from 2055 to 60.

It is dangerous to be China’s enemy, but it is lethal to be China’s friend. I have forgotten who is the author of this wisdom. Filipinos, think it over and over.
