It’s not the drainage, stupid

IT’S THE TRASH. Different parts of Cebu City experienced floods after heavy rains yesterday. Some areas were inundated even if the rain just fell there for a short time. The EAR heard this exchange between two men forced to cross flooded streets in Cebu City.

“Wala man ‘tawn nila tarunga og himo ang flood drainage oy,” the first man said.

“Ang baha tungod man gud na sa atong basura nga masulod sa kanal, di na tungod sa drainage,” his companion reacted.
