A cautionary tale about house pipes

WASTED WATER. A man who bought a house just several years ago was surprised when his water bill suddenly shot up. The only logical explanation he and a plumber could think of was a leak, and so they traced the entire pipe system but found nothing.

He later traced the water flow to a faucet he never even knew existed near a shed in his backyard. The faucet had been running for a good part of the month and the ground near the shed was almost like a swamp.

"Mora nami maboang pinangita asa ang agas," he told The Ear as he advised new homeowners to always know the extent of their pipelines.
