Dirty-mouthed kids

They say that handguns are sold over the counter in the United States. In the Philippines they’re sold under the table.

Police authorities say there are about a million loose or unlicensed firearms in the country. They don’t say how to collect the guns.

I heard a lady lawmaker say she’s drafting a bill that would penalize any husband who can’t give his wife “pleasurable sex.” This could be an addendum to the RH Bill. Hehe!

A primary schoolteacher asked me what she could do to reform her many “dirty mouthed” (her words) pupils. “Gagmay pa maayo nang mamalikas,” she said. I said in jest: “Try mouthwash.” She replied not in jest: “Safeguard?”

Nonito Donaire is fast rising to become the toast of the boxing world. Pretty soon his boxing shorts will compete with Manny Pacquiao’s in the number of product ads patches.

OVERHEARD. The passing of the RH Bill by the Senate and the House was the topic of discussion of two comadres. One of them said: “Tinuod ba na mare nga di na paggamiton nato ang atong bana?” The other comadre: “Paguardiyahan pa nila atong bana aron di maka-sex nato? Di na mahimo oy.” comadre I: “Kay gusto gyud diay siya mosiping ni compare.” They both laughed.
