Man shot dead

CEBU, Philippines - The police are looking for a man who shot another man in sitio Mananga, barangay Tabunok, Talisay City yesterday allegedly because of a grudge.

Homicide said Alcansado Tabay, 45, was spending time with his family when a Junior Dejamo, 42, with a drawn .45 cal. pistol, shot Tabay on the neck.

Tabay did not reach the Talisay District Hospital alive.

Tabay’s live-in partner and a brother claimed the killing was motivated by a feeling of resentment.

Meanwhile, Joel Encina Cavan, 22, of barangay Jaquimit, Naga City committed suicide after allegedly suffering from depression following his arrest for illegal possession of drugs.

Cavan was found hanging by the neck inside an unlived house close to the house he was renting.

He was taken to the South General Hospital where he was declared dead. (FREEMAN)
