WeCare Transport logs back-to-back wins in Amicis caging

CEBU, Philippines —  WeCare Transport fended off A2E Cargo Logistics, 94-91, for its second straight win in the 30-above division of Amicis Basketball League (ABL) Season 3 at the Cansaga gym in Consolacion, Cebu.

Larry Malagar sizzled with 23 points while Dittaz Gungob and Reygie Gabato connived for 30 points for WeCare.

Jonas Cayanong tallied 23 markers, Antolijao scored 21 while John Dave Barrientos added 19 points in a losing effort for A2E Cargo Logistics.

On the other hand, Jervic Conahap fired 27 points to power SG5 Madison to a 104-82 thrashing of Soo Goood Kan-anan.

Conahap drew huge support from Iki Duaso and Bryle Cabunilas, who chipped in 16 and 13 markers, respectively.

In the other results, the RCBC Gamsi escaped past the Prayboys, 99-97, while Level Up Poker of team owner Amy Lorentzen edged YYBC, 90-87.

Lemuel Malagar paced RCBC Gamsi with 38 points followed by Louie Bio with 21 points.

Arvin Tolentino showed the way for Level Up Poker with 20 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. He was ably backed up by Dennis Batac and Jerome Valle with 12 points apiece. — EBV
