Bob Arum says Pacquiao keen on Crawford fight

CEBU, Philippines —  Top Rank chairman Bob Arum revealed that the handlers of Manny Pacquiao are reaching out to him about the possibility of a mouth-watering unification bout between the Pinoy ring star and the undefeated American brawler Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford.

The 40-year-old Pacquiao is the unified WBA welterweight champion, while Crawford holds the crown in the WBO.

Speaking on the Top Rank podcast with host Crystina Poncher, Arum said it’s going to be a very interesting fight he plans to stage outside of the United States but he’s going to work it out only after the situation returns to normalcy.

“Pacquiao and his people have reached out to me about the possibility of a Crawford fight,” said Arum, who promotes Crawford, in a report by JJ Wrighter of nowboxing.com.
