TLTG bets sizzle in Tri Factor duathlon
CEBU, Philippines — The Go For Gold-powered Talisay Luigi Triathlon Group (TLTG) raked in three golds, one silver, and one bronze in the Tri Factor Asian Duathlon Championship Series-Philippine edition at Clarkfield, Pampanga yesterday.
Kim Remolino, a multi-titled member of the Philippine team, led the charge for the Cebu group after clinching the junior elite title in the sprint category of this duathlon event.
Remolino finished the race in one hour, two minutes and three seconds, 17 seconds ahead of Von Elliz Quintela. Miggy Quirino came out third with a 1:03:42 clocking.
Moira Erediano made her presence felt after snaring the super sprint crown in the girls Under 19 age group.
Erediano clocked in 27 minutes and 17 seconds to edge Kira Ellis (28:33) and Raven Valdez (29:28), who settled for second and third, respectively.
Matthew Justine Hermosa and Earol Belonguil caught part of the spotlight with a 1-2 finish in the boys Under 16 category of the super sprint race. Hermosa posted a time of 25:20 while Belonguil registered 25:29.
