Jumamoy dominates CUCC Tri

CEBU, Philippines — Harrison Jumamoy emerged as the biggest winner in the inaugural edition of the Cebu United Cycling Club’s ‘Tri Basdako 28.2’ the other day at the HK Resort in Basdako, Moalboal, southern town of Cebu.

Jumamoy of Team F4 was the fastest in the race composed of 200m swim, 31-kilometer bike and 3K run, after clocking in one hour, 23 minutes and 20 seconds. Team Rapidino’s Jun Duron settled for second with a time of 1:27:42 as Marcus Bas wound up third in 1:30:14.

Abs Cinco (1:35:15) and Albert Paraiso (1:35:39) occupied the fourth and fifth place, respectively.

In the team relay, Team CUCC of Joven Parilla (swim), Amer Datu (bike) and Yul Omega (run) ruled the finished first with a time of one hour, 18 minutes and 40 seconds.

The trio of Normandy Lahaylahay, Jade Pableo and Chai Navarro of Team CFB placed second with 1:21:16  followed by Bhoysan Sanchez, Randy Altamirano Plaza, and Michael Pardillo of Team CUCC 2 with 1:29:5, clocking. (FREEMAN)
