Aui Padawan shines in PTBA kegfest

CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano pinbuster Aui Padawan bagged the men's graded masters title in the 16th Philippine Tenpin Bowling Association (PTBA)-Crown Pipes Open at the Playdium Bowling Center in Manila the other night.

A mainstay of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA), Padawan completed the 10-game finals with the highest output of 2,116 pinfalls.

Prima-Cuisiner's Lorenz Tugade finished second with 2,090, while PTBA’s John Dee landed at third with 2, 037 pinfalls.

Padawan is also expected to do well in the mixed open masters division. So far, he has scored 1,170 pins.

On the other hand, Padawan's provincemate Alexis Sy leads in the women's mixed open masters with 1,290 pinfalls. (FREEMAN)
