CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Institute of Technology-University Wildcats are inviting basketball aspirants to join their tryouts scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 6 to 8 a.m. on Saturday at the CIT-U open court.

Alex de la Torre, the school's athletic director, advised all those who are interested to bring their school credentials.

Those selected would be invited to the CIT Wildcats summer training camp, which will have US-based Cebuano basketball coach/trainer Jefferson Codera, Jr. as one of the facilitators.

Codera, who is in town for a four-month furlough, is member of reigning NBA champions Golden State Warriors’ training camp and a licensed coach of USA Basketball under its Youth Development program.

The two-day tryouts is part of CIT-U's buildup for the 16th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) season set to kick off in the first week of August at the Cebu Coliseum. (FREEMAN)
