Reichelt to dazzle Cebu fans anew

CEBU, Philippines -  Filipino-German booter Patrick Reichelt returns to Cebu as he suits up for the Philippine Azkals against the Malaysia Tigers in their highly-anticipated 'Face Off 2' this Sunday at the Cebu City Sports Center.

The 25-year-old Reichelt, whose mom is from Argao south of Cebu, gained a lot of following among Cebuano fans due to his stellar performance during the Azkals' previous international friendly match here against the Singapore Lions.

Reichelt and majority of the Azkals led by the popular Younghusband brothers Phil and James are set to arrive in the Queen City of the South on Friday. They will be joined by Anton del Rosario, Simon Greatwich, Eduard Sacapano, Patrick Deyto, Simone Rota, Ruben Doctora, OJ Porteria, Kenshiro Daniels, Daisuke Sato, Curt Dizon, Carlie De Murga, Chris Jason De Jong, Jovin Bedic and Nick O'Donnel.

There are six other players who will be included in the Azkals lineup under newly-hired American coach Tom Dooley, but their names are still being finalized as of this writing.

Meanwhile, the organizing Cebu Football Association is happy to get the support of the city government of Cebu along with seven private companies namely the Cebu Landmasters, Smart, Gelatissimo, AboitizLand, Cebu Parklane International Hotel, Jonie's and Dunkin Donuts.

Tickets for the Face Off 2 are available through www.smtickets.com or at SM Cinema's ticket outlets.

Tickets under the extended bleacher are priced at P1,000 for the premiere blue, white and yellow, while the premiere pink and green are pegged at P500.

The VIP section is pegged at 2,500, while the rest of the sections are priced at P1,000 for red, P700 for white, P600 for yellow and blue and P250 for green and pink.

The Face Off 2 is something that the Cebuanos should not miss as the two national squads are both hungry for victory with their first three previous meetings ending in a draw. (FREEMAN)
