The suspects were identified as Mark Jovan Rosales, 29, resident of A. Lopez, Barangay Labangon, and Malou Dela Peña, alias Michelle, 41, a native of Nabunturan, Davao Del Norte but temporarily staying at A. Lopez Street, in Barangay Calamba.

Rosales is reportedly a regional high value target, while Dela Peña is a street level target and is part of the station level’s watch list.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Frankie Jingle Vea Lugo, who headed the operation, and the other operatives were able to confiscate packs of suspected shabu weighing 1,073 grams and would cost P11,580,400, based on the Dangerous Drug Board Value.

Both the suspects are now detained at the lock-up jail at the Cebu City Police Office, as the authorities are preparing the filing of the case for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Article II of R.A 9165.
