CEBU, Philippines - On November 11, Friday, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa at Mactan had a double bash. The resort had its Christmas Tree Lighting in the early evening and then hosted a sumptuous dinner to mark its 20th anniversary this year. The open-air seaside dinner venue bustled with friends and loyal clients, who all enjoyed the delectable buffet spread and great entertainment from a live band. At one point, the night sky was sparked by a fabulous fireworks display, which had everyone grabbing their camera phones to capture the moment. Plantation Bay owner Manny Gonzales and general manager Efren Belarmino – and the rest of the resort staff as well – personally saw to it that everybody in attendance had fun. (FREEMAN)
