Homegrown Brands in Men's Fashion

CEBU, Philippines - It was certainly an impressive show that concluded the Style Origins series this year. During the Mensweek Fashion Show, models walked the runway in predominant shades of black, grey and white with designs ranging from corporate to formal to androgynous in different cuts and silhouettes, making use of both classic and unconventional materials - a testament that style is always ever evolving and encompassing.

Adding glitz to the occasion were some of today's hottest celebrities in haute couture. Basketball superstar Jeric Teng wore a Noel Crisostomo piece while surprise guest, multimedia star and rockoustic heartthrob Sam Milby thrilled the audience in a Do.Se creation. After modeling Anthony Ramirez' masterpiece, the RnB Sensation Kris Lawrence entertained the crowd with his cool voice and smooth moves. All in all, creations by 37 Filipino fashion designers were presented.

Style Origin, a signature event of Ayala Malls, is a project that highlights distinguished homegrown brands, renowned Filipino designers and international labels through a series of activities that promote music, fashion, design and lifestyle.  (FREEMAN)
